Lighting Sales Manager (Cielux Brand)

DiCon is getting ready to make its next great push with the Cielux brand ( This brand will focus specifically on the architectural and commercial lighting markets. The Cielux brand has made a name in the industry with its award winning desk lamps, and is ready to launch its next big product line, premium track lights for high end retail stores and museums.

DiCon Lighting is actively seeking an experienced National Sales Manager for the Cielux brand to strategically market LED lighting products, expand/manage the rep network, and grow the revenue. Candidates must have proven track record of working for a lighting manufacturer and selling into the commercial/architectural lighting markets. Individuals must have the ability to develop long-term relationships with designers, rep agencies, electrical contractors, and electrical distribution houses. Applicants must be excited about LED technology and be able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment. Great opportunity for growth and to affect change in a fast paced technology company.

Special Duties

  • Market and sell Cielux lighting products to lighting designers, reps, electrical contractors, electrical maintenance providers, lighting retrofitters, electrical distribution houses, etc.
  • Coordinate and organize product launches including, but not limited to: marketing material, web contents, product incentives, news releases, and education pamphlets
  • Ask for orders and close sales.
  • Assure and coordinate customer service and shipping to fully support sales to customers.
  • Understand company's business and help develop product roadmap.
  • Prepare and attend trade shows

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Sales experience in commercial architectural lighting industry
  • Recently experience in working for a commercial lighting manufacturer
  • Strong experience in track light systems preferred
  • Experience in museum lighting preferred
  • Great business sense and desire to elevate position in the marketplace
  • Excellent verbal and written communication/networking skills
  • Deadline oriented and results driven
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to travel frequently
