1 And 2-Ch Manual Variable Attenuators

DiCon’s Manual Variable Attenuator is a fiber-pigtailed component that sets attenuation levels in the range of 0 to 50 dB. By turning an adjustment screw, attenuator can be precisely set. The compact housing is designed for mounting on a printed circuit board or within an enclosure.

Applications:

Manual Variable Attenuators can be used to adjust optical power levels in factory test and field transmission systems. Applications include optimizing receiver sensitivity in field systems as well as measuring bit-error rate performance in lab demonstrations.
