DiCon Introduces New LED Lighting Products at Lightfair

DiCon Fiberoptics, Inc. will introduce its new SweetSpot™ LED-driven luminaire, a true alternative to luminaires using 35W MR-16 bulbs, at next week’s Lightfair show in Las Vegas, Nevada (May 28-30, 2008). The SweetSpot™ is packaged in a sleek housing designed to fit seamlessly into any contemporary setting. It will be offered in a range of options including Multicolor RGB lamps for decorative and entertainment lighting, Tunable White lamps that let the user match the lighting to the mood, and fixed white lamps for task and architectural lighting applications. The SweetSpot™ is currently available in sample quantities.

White Light additions: FiberLamp family
In addition to the SweetSpot™, DiCon will introduce new white light models to its family of LED FiberLamps™. All FiberLamp™ models, including the very bright indoor and outdoor FiberLamps™ as well as the quieter, smaller Fanless FiberLamp™, will now be available in a Tunable White versions that produce adjustable light from warm white (2700K) through cool white (6500K) with the push of a button, as well as fixed warm white (2700K), neutral white (4000K), and cool white (6500K) versions. FiberLamp™ illuminators couple a vast array of light combinations into fiber applications such as neon light replacement, entertainment, landscape architecture, retail display, and more. FiberLamp™ illuminators save energy through the use of high brightness LEDs that deliver light to where you need it most.

Out of the Lab: 2000 lumen, AC-driven FloodLamp
Also on display will be DiCon’s prototype 2000+ lumen, 110v AC-driven FloodLamp. Taking advantage of DiCon’s strengths in managing high-density LED arrays; this newest prototype demonstrates the capabilities of increased brightness as well as the required thermal management.
