Position:  Sales Manager and Sales Engineers


Job Description & Responsibilities

DiCon is looking for talented and highly motivated individuals to join its rapidly growing sales team in the specialty markets which focus on Test Automation, Bio/Medical Equipment, Government Communication Systems, Defense Secure Networks, etc.

Positions for Sales Managers and Sales Engineers are currently available.

A Sales Managerís primary responsibilities include: 1) managing customer relationships, 2) expanding existing business, 3) promoting and selling new products, and 4) exploring new markets.

Sales Engineerís primary role is to support the Sales Manager in all business accounts, large and small. Responsibilities include: 1) responding to RFQ's, 2) understanding customer needs and explaining our products's pecifications, 3) providing post-sale services as requested, and 4) follow up with customers to win future business. Sales Engineers must have a strong technical background.

The ideal candidate must be extremely enthusiastic, be very results-oriented, possess the charisma to interact with customers appropriately, and have the ability to explain technical details clearly.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelorís degree in Engineering or Science
  • Experience: 5 years of sales experience in related optics industry (for Sales Manager) or 2 years of sales experience in related industries (for Sales Engineer)
  • Able to use business and technical knowledge to deliver results and win business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills (to monitor and analyze customers and markets to create new business)
  • Able to travel (up to 30% time)
