Position:  Lighting Sales Manager

Job Description & Responsibilities

DiCon Lighting is actively seeking an experienced Sales Manager to strategically market and sell LED lighting products under our fast growing Cielux brand (www.cielux.com). Candidate must have proven track record of working for a commercial architectural lighting manufacturer and confident in selling into and developing longterm relationships with designer, electrical contractors, electrical maintenance providers, lighting retrofitters, and electrical distribution houses. Applicant must be excited about the LED technology and willing to put significant effort into this rapidly changing field in exchange for tremendous growth opportunities in a fast paced technology company.

Special Duties

• Market and sell Cielux lighting products to lighting designers, electrical contractors, electrical maintenance providers, lighting retrofitters, electrical distribution houses, etc.
• Coordinate and organize product launches including, but not limited to: marketing material, web contents, product incentives, news releases, and education pamphlets
• Ask for orders and close sales
• Assure and coordinate customer service and shipping to fully support sales to customers
• Understand company’s business and help develop product roadmap
• Prepare and attend trade shows

Qualifications & Requirements

• Five or more years of sales experience in commercial architectural lighting industry
• Recently experience in working for a commercial lighting manufacturer
• Deadline oriented and result driven
• Ability to travel frequent
• Great business sense and desire to elevate position in the marketplace
• Strong architectural lighting design background preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication/networking skills
• Good organizational skills
