Position:  Semiconductor Process Engineer

Job Description & Responsibilities

DiCon has immediate openings for Semiconductor Process Engineers, to develop manufacturing processes for III-V optical devices. This work is focused on the development and manufacture of leading-edge High Brightness LEDs and LED arrays, for solid-state lighting applications. The primary responsibility of these positions is to develop processes including metallization, etching, deposition, and optical lithography. The positions require working collaboratively with top epitaxy and device engineers to improve the performance of these advanced optical devices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong background in semiconductor processes. Preferably with an MS or above in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related (such as Electrical Engineering, with a focus on semiconductor processing).
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience required.
• Hands-on experience in metallization processes, dry and wet etching, and deposition.
• Direct experience in process characterization and optimization.
• Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Comfortable with a fast-moving high-tech industrial environment.
