Position:  Process Engineer

Job Description & Responsibilities

DiCon has an immediate need for a Process Engineer to develop the manufacturing process of fiber optic components, modules, and test equipment. The primary function for this position is to implement designs and plans on production line, to provide technical support, and to troubleshoot. The position also includes responsibility for identifying and implementing process improvements that will reduce time-to-market, lower cost, and improve product quality and reliability.

This individual must be self-motivated and has strong physical insight. The ideal candidate should have strong background in optics electronics or mechanics. Prior experience in micro-optics, fiberoptics, and MEMS fabrication process is preferred but not required. The position requires working closely with DiCon's sales & marketing team on product requirements and features and collaboration with other product developers and engineers.

Qualifications & Requirements

• BS or MS degree with major in Engineering, Physics, Engineering Physics, or Applied Physics
• Experience in manufacturing environment, fiberoptic or micro-optic component manufacturing preferred
• Excellent communication skill
• New Graduates are welcome
